Ajmichalka

AJ Michalka is an American performer, singer, songwriter, musician and model most well-known as the other half of the group 'Aly and AJ. She sings alongside her sister Aly Michalka. AJ was is a native of Torrance California she was inspired to pursue a career in music from her maternal grandmother Carrie. AJ was a part of her youth in Torrance as well as Seattle as well as Milwaukee. The two began playing the guitar and piano in the early years of their lives. At the time they were teenagers, they were professionals in their field. AJ was first introduced to acting when she was 5 years old. She was also a performer in the church's productions of plays. AJ was also involved with her school's musical performances. AJ began her professional career in acting in 2002 as an 11-year-old girl in the TV show "Passions'.
